The Legend
Jelangkung is a traditional Indonesian ritual used to summon spirits — performed using a puppet crafted from a coconut shell, sticks, and cloth. The spirit is invited in with a chant: “Jelangkung, jelangkung, here there’s a feast — come uninvited, leave uninvited.” What answers the call, however, may not be so easy to dismiss.
The Story
You play as Rara, a college student who returns to her late grandmother’s empty house to settle her affairs. While sorting through forgotten belongings, she discovers her grandmother’s diary — and within its pages, a cryptic note about a lost brooch that was never found.
Driven by grief and curiosity, Rara performs the Jelangkung ritual, hoping to reach across the veil and speak with her grandmother’s spirit. Something answers. But the entity that responds communicates only in riddles, and the house begins to reveal secrets it was never meant to give up.
Search every corner. Lift every floorboard. And whatever you do — don’t trust the mirror.
